This is by far one of my most treasured CDs. The movie is fantastic (in my opinion), but the soundtrack is brilliant. Hans Zimmer's larger-than-life militaristic score gets the "Fisher-Price" make-over with delightful results! His tracks interject classic songs like "Closing of the Year" and even an opera-themed piece.

"Toys" is one of these special albums that literally became a soundtrack to my life. Many listeners will know what I am talking about. The keyword here is "association," where, when we hear a song, we can recall memories which can literally flood your mind, and you'll remember things you'd forgotten years prior.

Tori Amos - Video Collection: Fade to Red is not a complete collection, some videos are missing but Tori's videos have always been innovative and special. My favorite videos from this collection include: Hey Jupiter, 1000 Oceans, Caught a Lite Sneeze, Bliss, Spark, Jackie's Strength, and Cornflake Girl (U.S. Version). I am a huge Tori freak, I adore all her albums and dvd concerts. There is nothing from Tori that I don't absolutely love. There is even audio commentary from Tori herself about the videos, the way she analyzes everything can be a bit confusing but if you are a die-hard Tori fan then get this dvd collection of some of her greatest and strangest videos.

Strange Little Girls

When I first got this CD a few years ago I wasn't able to appreciate the substance and style of this CD....now I have matured so to speak into my 30s I really LOVE it! It's absolutely enchanting...her unique voice....takes me to another world! She's a great songwriter/singer!!!
