High Times: Singles 1992-2006

This may be the best music album ever. I was never into Jamiroquai, but recently heard some of their stuff, so I bought this album. The approach to music that they use is so wonderful, I can't really put it to words. I play guitar, bass, drums, some piano, etc... and this music makes me just want to give-up because I know I'll never be nearly as good as Jamiroquai is. I've even considered taking dancing lessons just so I can dance to this music and know that I won't look ridiculous. Listen to the samples.

Jamiroquai: Live at Montreux 2003 [Blu-ray]

I love the way Jamiroquai puts their funky remix on some of their songs when performed live. The DVD is absolutely beautiful. This concert DVD is truly one of the best DIRECTED DVD's out there. And it looks GORGEOUS in blu ray. I'm blasting it right now, my neighbors are going to be so upset. I can't help it..it sounds just that great.

The Return of the Space Cowboy

This is one of my favorite Jamiroquai cds. I absolutely love this band. I've had the opportunity to see them perform live and they performed most of these songs. He is an excellent performer. You can listen to this whole cd without skipping any songs. I love Jason's voice and the variety of instruments. If you love a good band sound, this is the group to listen to. It sounds like they have a million band members. The sound is so full. They are the epitome of funky. I can tell they have taken their style or have been influenced by some of my favorite groups from the 70's i.

Travelling Without Moving

It's been said before, but if what you're looking for is Virtual Insanity, buy the single. With the exception of, to an extend, Cosmic Girl and Alright, it's really the only track on the album that has that feel or sound.

There's a lot of ground covered on the album, and some of it is more successful than others. Virtual Insanity and Cosmic Girl are instantly likable, cheery numbers. Use the Force is a bit on the silly side for me, but things pick up for the next few tracks. Drifting Along pretty much runs right off the rail for me, and Didjerama is just plain boring (though Digjital Vibrations is alright).
