You see me laughin' is an extraordinary documentary film that takes you into the backwoods where the Black blues players reside. You see them amongst their surroundings, their kinfolk, the room where they play, the porch where they hangout and get their inspiration. Unless you've been there into the backwoods, you wouldn't have guessed that within this sparse surrounding, the world exists in simplicity and purity which allows the blues musician to find his stories. Of course, everyone has the blues, but this style is the rural adaptation, not the citified urban blues that we're used to hearing.

Nude & Rude: The Best of Iggy Pop

Best one-volume intro to Iggy. And actually, one of the very few "Best of" collections of which it could actually be said that it is not unreasonably far from the platonic ideal implied by "Best of". So buy the freakin thing and ignore the Comic Book Guys here whining that their nominee for TEH BESTEST IG SONG EVAR didn't make it onto this.

Wes Craven's "Shocker" No More Mr. Nice Guy: The Music

This is one soundtrack that packs a punch.Unlike today's music, this soundtrack really rocks! Proving once again that the 80's had the best music.This is a great metal/hair/rock album.
1.Shocker(10/10)The title track kicks major ass.Paul Stanly(of kiss)on vocals, Vivian Campbell(of Dio and Whitesnake)on guitar, Rudy Sarzo(of M.A.R.S. and Whitesnake)on Bass, and Tommy Lee(Motley Crue)on drums.This song will blow you away.
2.Love Transfusion(10/10)Another great metal song.Iggy Pop on vocals, Guy Mann Dude and John McCurry on guitars among many others involved.

Jazz A Saint-Germain

A fun compilation of songs performed by an unusual array of performers. As a bonus the sound production quality is excellent.
Not for everyone's taste, it's not jazz but cabaret style and I think this CD will appeal to baby boomers best. Listen to sampler before you buy.
