I've been a Gino Vannelli fan for over 30 years, since the first time I heard "Gist of the Gemini." He is a "musician's musician," the kind of talent that comes along once in a generation, capable of writing, arranging, and performing at the very highest level. The Best of Gino Vannelli

I've been a long time Gino fan since needing my "new fix for '76" when I was in my late teens. If you have a good collection of his music (I'm rebuilding mine on CD now) this is a good one to have. It's his commercial hits all in a neat package. I prefer the less commercial stuff, but this is very good to humm and try to sing along with. No one can match his voice, depth and range. I can one hand it into the single shot CD player in the dash of the mini-van a.k.a. Dad's Taxi after I get rid of the Barney or Thomas sing along song CD's.
