I've bought this CD in preparation to Christmas, and it's already being a blessing. Faith's powerful voice, with orchestra and choir altogether in those old hymns exalting Christ are really inspiring.

After attending The Soul to Soul 2006 & Soul to Soul 2007 concerts I was wondering if I'd be let down by this video. I wasn't. It's SO readily apparant, to me anyway, how Faith puts her heart & soul into her music. I don't think she's capable of doing anything less that 100%. ....Buy it if you're a Faith Hill fan.

i was already a fan of lori mckenna when i saw her on oprah with faith hill. personally, i think lori's version (the original) of the song 'fireflies' is waaaay better than faith's rendition. i also like lori's voice better - sorry to any faith fans! mckenna's voice has a folksy, fluttering sound that draws you in - her voice catches and your heart feels that ole pull. her songs are so breathtakingly real and down-to-earth, yet they are lyrical and poetic at the same time.
