Lean on Me-Best of Bill Withers

I'm not sure that Bill Withers gets the respect due him for all of the great music he put out but this is a good way to get started with his music. There are so many great cuts on this CD that I hate to try to pick any favorites but how can you not love, Lovely Day, Ain't No Sunshine, Grandma's Hands, Lean On Me etc.
This is a must have collection for anybody who loves music and good song writing.

+ 'Justments

At long last the wait is over to play this incredible music in CD format. The wait has been painful but music lovers everywhere won on February 16, 2010. Bill Withers made many great recordings but +'Justments is the "Masterpiece" long overdue. I hope it spurs the release of his entire catalog on CD in the near future. Thanks to whomever is responsible for restoring a gem. May it never go out of print.

I enjoyed every one of the songs and it took me back a bit to remember

Bill Withers' brief time in the spotlight as a recording artist resulted in several timeless albums and songs that have become standards - "Grandma's Hands", "Lean on Me", "Harlem"," Ain't No Sunshine" and the list goes on. The present CD, Playlist includes some rarer tracks from the "+ Justments" album, that have never been released on CD. The blogs ask the question "why"? and it remains a mystery as to why Legacy have overlooked this gem (similar questions can be asked as to why Tyrone Davis' output on Columbia is represented by 2 CDs, differing by 1 track between them).
