Viva La Vida

I was just randomly checking some songs on youtube and came across this song Viva la Vida.
I was extremely impressed with the melody it had and i checked out the whole album .It turned out that the whole album is a masterpiece and the best work of coldplay till date.
They followed up with prospects march which is also very good.
I have been listening to this album from more than one year and i haven't stopped yet..

Viva La Vida

Viva La Vida is the first Coldplay album that I can listen to from beginning to end without skipping a single song.

I can't get enough of this album, it's one that I keep going back to and listening to again and again (either on CD or on my MP3 players).

There are songs that I do like more than others. My favorite songs are the title track, Violet Hill, and Yes. My least favorite is Strawberry Swing, but I don't dislike it enough to skip it.

A Rush of Blood to the Head

Friends had repeatedly told me that I would like Coldplay. So I picked up this and "Parachutes" at a budget price. I've played each a few times now, but have failed to connect with the band. I like music that makes me feel something, connects with my emotions. For example, "God Put A Smile Upon Your Face" just seems to drone on with the pounding piano, but it doesn't make me feel much. Perhaps I don't connect with the lead singer. I like the style of the music. "The Scientist" is supposed to be one of their best songs, but the vocals seem sterile to me.

X&Y

I had my first listen to this album at the gym, while exercising on an elliptical machine with headphones on. I was expecting to hear more of the same type of music from their previous two albums - both of which I love. After listening to X&Y more than a few times; I felt the desire to resurrect Parachutes and A Rush of Blood to the Head and reacquaint myself with them. X&Y is an impressive display of the versatility Coldplay possesses as a band. The sound of this album is more sonic and suited for large stadium and area venues.
