Sounds like all of her other cd's. I like maybe 5 songs. Rude boy is my favorite song on this cd as it is great to get my hyped when I workout.

Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded

If you want to purchase one of Rihanna's albums, this is the one! I have the others and they all fall short compared to "Good Girl Gone Bad." While having 1 or 2 hit singles, the other songs are not as catchy and are forgettable. But this album has many catchy and cute pop songs. I listen to it all the time. Don't miss this one.

My musical taste tends more in the direction of jazz-rock fusion, though I like all sorts of music, including some pop music. Among pop artists, I would say that Rihanna has emerged as one of my favorites. Whereas some pop artists have a rather formulaic and gimmicky approach which tells you they're not going to be around for long, Rihanna has genuine musicality. Her songs are well crafted and fairly diverse, covering the spectrum from rock to carribean party vibes to heartfelt ballads, and her singing is surprisingly good, with phrasing which often reminds me of guitar playing (though, as a guitarist myself, perhaps I'm predisposed to hear that).

A Girl Like Me

I personally liked her first album when it came out. I thought it was catchy,poppy, and was fun to listen to. The only reason she really got popular was because she was smart and expanded herself catering to a more "White" audience. Especially with the unfaithful video. When this came out I thought there were way way too many carbon copies that out there and to me this seemed really medieocure. Even compared to Beyonce(and i was getting tired of her). Unfaithful was ok. I don't really think she can sing that well, well at least ballads shes got more of a pop voice(which is ok).
