If you've seen this movie, you know the music is great! I had my elementary students listen to the opera and they really enjoyed it. (So did my own kids.) If you're not an avid opera person, but enjoy melodic passion now and then, this is a nice choice.

Years ago when this came out I didn't like it because my friend S---- got OBESSESSED with La Liz and spent all his time ont eh Internet and listening to her that we didn't do scenes together (we are actors and if you don't do your scenes you lose your chops). He called her his favorite MELF (which is a very degrading word I wont tell what it means in case there are women reading this). AngryI got made so I spread some rumours about liz Phair first atn school then ion the net! I know that thye must have hurt her.

Star 98.7 FM: Star Lounge 2003 Collection

This CD is put out by a radio station (Star 98.7 FM) in Los Angeles, and its original proceeds went to charity. The songs are "unplugged" versions of hits (and soon to be hits) by famous artists. The results vary widely.

Evanescence is not nearly as good as the album version, and Liz Phair's stage fright makes her song painful at times.

Matchbox 20, Jason Mraz, and Tori Amos all put in stellar performances that make this CD well worth its price.
