Songs and Stories [CD + Audio DVD]

As expected this is a super beautful cd but its the audio quality coming from the Super Disc format that will blow you away.There is not a bad track on this bad boy this is the cd that justifies my state of the art multichannel audio system.My B&W speakers are simply having a lot of fum every bass note,mid highs just kicking and putting a smile on my face...merry christmas everybody iam in heaven thank you George Benson and crew.

The Best of George Benson

Granted, along with earl Klugh, and Wes Montgomery, George Benson is one of the finest Jazz Musicians to ever pick up a guitar.

However, I love to hear his beautiful clear voice ring out full of emotion and tenderness. That's why I love this collection of George Benson Vocals. Sometimes you are in the mood for instrumentals, but sometimes you just want to sing along. Included in this collection is one of my personal favorites, the melancholy ballad, "Everything Must Change" from his album "In Flight".

Collaboration

This is one of the most timeless music i have ever heard.The production quality is second to none absolutely flawless...i need this cd to be digitally remastered and i will buy it again at any cost.Two of the greatest guitarist in the world it does not get any better than this period.

George Benson - Live at Montreux, 1986

This is one "Live At Montreux" series DVD on which the DTS option is poorly engineered so that the 2 Channel PCM option may be preferable to the 5.1 Surround and DTS options for play back. That is certainly the case with my sound system. In this case the center channel (speaker) dominates the rest of the channels.

The picture quality, while acceptable, betrays the age of the concert (1986). On the whole if you need only one George Benson concert DVD for your library Absolutely Live (the Ireland Concert) will be the superior choice, even if Montreux is the more spirited performance.
