Wow. Wow. WOW !!!!! I do not know where I can begin on reviewing this new mix from Ferry Corsten. Unlike his last mix, Passport To The United States, this mix is just off the charts! Ferry seems to have rekindled the magic that made him one of the more underrated DJ's in IMO. Not since The Passport To The Netherlands has he been this good. And the track selection is also top notch.

This double CD's contains no filler tracks and the mixing is top notch. I've already played the set twice and I cant help liking it even more.

I am a great fan of DJ Ferry Corsten !! I own almost all of his released mixes and artists albums and have seen him perform numerous times in clubs in the US. This is a good CD compilation with some previously unreleased songs for his fans and other pretty awesome mixes of some other well known pieces ... It would have deserved 4.5 starts if it did NOT have the constant, annoying, and completely senseless announcements in the middle of almost every song by some incompetent announcer from the Dance Valley festival .

Dance Valley, Vol. 10 Main Stage Edition: Mixed by Ferry Corsten

First of all, I must note that I have never been to the Dance valley festival and thus it is hard to judge the music selection on the disk. Thus, I am approaching this CD as just a dance compilation.

This CD is mixed by Mr. Ferry Corsten whose music I greatly appreciate. The set came out at about the same time as Ferry's "Infinite Euphoria" and differs from it in many ways. Overall, I find music on "Dance Valley" CDs not as melodic as I expect from Ferry and more rythm-driven which is great when you're mixing for several thousand dancing party-goers.

The Very Best of Ferry Corsten

Ferry Corsten is one of the best Dj's in the world...period. No matter whether his tracks are chill or upbeat they will entertain you and keep you moving. What I hate about some "trance" fans is that they expect all the music from their artists to be ENTIRELY upbeat, and that would severely limit the artists creativity. That would be like asking Jordan to ONLY shoot his jumpshot, or for RODDICK to practice his serve and nothing else. A good artist will excel in various styles and will allow the listener to experience various emotions.
