SOME SONGS ARE ABOUT HEARTBREAK AND PAIN AND OTHERS ARE ABOUT MOVING ON FROM HEART BREAK. THERE ARE ALSO SONGS TO DANCE TOO , AND OTHERS. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMENED THIS C.D.

In large part due to a long standing glut of hip-hop/R&B diva album releases,dating back to the days of Mary J.Blidge and Aaliyah there are a number of wonderful albums that make a strong musical and emotional statement,and they all to often end up ignored. This is one such release. The production as done by the people at Murder Inc.,Ashanti's label at this point definately have Mary J in mind when it comes to the production.The layers of 70's soul and R&B breaks are wound through......actually tasteful and sudtle beats which,as the fair weather oceanic cover art suggests has the feeling and sensuality of a fine summer R&B album.

Concrete Rose

why like all ashanti's songs have the word baby in it baby, baby, baby, i thought
the skits she put in this on was dumb she cant sing that is why noon of her albms never gotten traight 5 or 4 in a half stars.but she got her fans but how the hell is buying her cd's but ilke her picture on this concrete rose album and i do like the title.
