This looked a bit worn, and the first pages were ripping out, but it was great! And for the price I wouldn't have done it any other way. I have since given it to another person who again, loved it! Great learning book. Step by step basics for those just starting out!

To sum it up shortly: Terrible.

If you intend to use this as your only study resource, you WILL NOT PASS the exam, even if you do all the exercises multiple times. Be prepared to spend at least as much time on TechNet reading articles and experimenting on your own as you work through this book, and plan for at least 1.5 months of solid, dedicated study if you hope to pass.

I have been working with MS products since DOS, have been certified in every server and desktop OS since Windows NT 4, and consider myself an expert.

Microsoft Office 2010 Plain & Simple

First I am not a fan of quick and easy computer books simply because I outgrow them in just a few days. That said I will also say that this book is easy to read the illustrations are easy to see and there is a host of more information in this book than in most easy type books.
It is a book for beginners to the somewhat more advanced type of people. Each chapter is easy to read and understand, just be sure to be sitting at the computer so you can go through the exercises in this book.
This book was perfect for showing me very quickly how Windows 7 works after I came in both Office 2001 and also from Vista to Windows 7.
