I am a huge fan of Derek Jeter's. That's why I chose this book. I gave it five stars because Matt Christopher described every part of Derek's life accurately. I had already read Derek's autobiography and in that book I learned that his Dad made him sign contracts. In these contracts with his father, Derek had to promise to get good grades -- or else he didn't get to play in any All Star games or anything. Later, dude!

When I belatedly heard Charisma Carpenter posed for PLAYBOY, I felt honor-bound to obtain a copy. I mean, I'm no pervert...really...but who can resist the million-watt smile she flashed all those years playing Cordelia Chase BUFFY and ANGEL? Certainly not me. Little did I know that getting this particular back-issue of Hefner's magazine was gonna be every bit as easy as oh, say, scoring an invite to the Playboy mansion. (Whenever I show up, it's, "Release the hounds!")

It turns out a lot of people wanted to see Cordelia in her birthday suit, because not only is this copy sold out on the Playboy website, it's actually not even listed on it.
