Very well written book with a great flow.. I was even more amazed that I actually traveled the same road that Shirley did in Peru.. SEVERAL TIMES! I only wish I read this book prior to that lol

Because if it's not, it should me. Total waste of time for anyone looking to read a good travel memoir. You'd be better off reading Twilight. Frankly, I'm pretty surprised this book is rated 4 stars.

Sage-ing While Age-ing

Well, I just finished Ms. MacLaine's latest rendering and I must say, it was interesting to say the least! No matter what I read, I try to keep an open mind while having my "B.S. Detector" on.
I love Shirley's style of writing......it's like she's either musing to herself or just talking to a dear old confidant. In this book she reveals how she feels herself aging and sort of looks back over her life, which has lead her to this place now. She has definitely had a remarkable life!!! She then moves into the area of Extra Terrestrial visitors to Earth for which she is highly passionate and determined to dig out the truth.
