"You know spies, bitchy little girls". Once Sam uttered this infamous line, I knew that I would love this show: I have not be disappointed. The chemistry between Michael, Fi, Sam and "Mom" is perfect (actually, once they axed the brother then it was perfect). Each season is fast paced and keeps true to the burned storyline. And who would not love a show with Sharon Gless chain smoking her way into your heart and Ash as your best friend/right hand? I mean come on--Evil Dead! Nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no more.

I absolutely love and appreciate "Queer as Folk" on so many levels. Not only is a (very) small segment of gay life examined, but it has characters that you really care about, who make decisions--good and bad--that all can relate to. Straight or gay. Straight shows are so prevalent and plentiful; yet, QAF confronts issues that haven't been touched by those others. Season 4 is quite a bit darker than the others, and way too short. After getting almost unnaturally involved with these people, it finally dawned on me that Brian is the heart and soul of this show, warts 'n all.

Were I in this show, I would be one of those in season 5 carrying a "hate"sign, protesting the "fags", only I would not be carrying a sign or calling out epitaphs. I just discovered this show last year -2009. I have always been a sucker for a good drama, from Dallas to The Young and The Restless. I am a Christian. I believe every word in the Bible. Homosexuality for me, has always been an issue to fight against-"love the sinner, hate the sin". My problem was I have always looked at the sin and not the sinner, where homosexuality is concerned.
