The Sopranos: The Complete Third Season

The DVD packaging for the season three collection of The Sopranos is a comedown from the first two season collections. The DVDs are stacked two to a side in a single case, making it necessary to remove the top DVD to get to the one underneath.
Content itself sees a change for the worse in a change from the first two collections as well. The previous collections made it intuitive to select " Previously" or " Next" previews from the menu. I had to search for those menu options in the season three collection.

Life on Mars: The Complete Series

As usual a show this unique would only last one season while utter tripe like "Three And A Half Men" gets re-upped for years. Kudos to the set designers for making this so '70's-authentic. The ending was phenomenal!!! I was guessing up until the last two minutes how it was going to resolve....simply brilliant!!! Very few TV shows have had endings this imaginative. "The Prisoner" being one of them. In a broad sense 'Life On Mars' had a few of the ambiguous qualities that made "The Prisoner" so great.
