The Abbott & Costello Show - The Complete Series Collector's Edition

I'm not quite sure why there is a need now to release a "NEW" collection of Abbott & Costello series in a single box set by E1 Entertaiment. The two Volume Collection on Passport was also remastered and uncut and equally of good quality plus hours of non-show material. Could someone tell me why I would need this "NEW" set versus the 10 disc 2 bos DVD set I already own?
BTW, for non-watchers -- these episodes hold up very well against time.
Not quite 3 Stooges material nor is it I Love Lucy.

I love Abbott and Costello. Always have and probably always will. I started watching them on 50's television when they had their own show on Ch 11 locally. These shows had a lot of their standard routines and a montage from their early movies. At the time I did not realize where these scenes came from having never seen the movies, however as an adult I came to realize that there were unmined nuggets for me to enjoy. This DVD is an excellent example of the best they have to offer. The only complaint I have is that it doesn't contain one of my favorites, "The Time of Their Lives.

I got this collection of Abbot and Costello for Christmas. Only one movie on this collection worked. All the rest skipped, froze and did not play. Very Very bad recording quality!!! This was a gift and should have worked much better!!! Did no one ever view what they tried to record of this classic comedy team? What they have tried to sell here is total crap? The Best of Abbott & Costello collections are the Worst of them! Never order from this producer again... Got my refund...
