I grew up on this series and love it to this day. My wife's birthday is coming up and I just bought her the whole series so she doesn't have to wait for it to come on the television. I don't know if that was a wise purchase on my part... Maybe I'll get my wife away from the TV in a Month or so after she's done watching it all. Anyway, this is one of those shows that cannot be dimmed by time. It has great story lines and virtuous themes such as courage to stand up for what is right even if it puts your own safety or happiness on the line.

Meteor Apocalypse

*May contain spoiler: I watched Meteor Apocalyse and really enjoyed the story / plot. Joe Lando plays David, a man who seems to be upset with life in general, but takes it out with shortness on his wife and daughter. Meahwhile a meteor is broken up in space by nuclear missles making the debris head towards Earth, Lake Mead, NV to be exact, and poisons the water supply. David is called into work and finds his co-worker foaming at the mouth and David realizes the water has been contaminated. He tells his wife on the phone not to drink the water, only to hear on the other end, his wife asking the daughter if she drank the water, and then the phone goes dead.

Vampire Wars: Battle for the Universe

I must admit that I purchased this movie because Dominic Zamprogna was it and I figured I'd suffer through it just to watch him. Imagine my surprise when I actually enjoyed the movie. I have never willingly watched or purchased a horror movie before, but this one actually had a plot (our heros work for a corporation and go out and exterminate vampires from planets so that the miners etc. can do their job) and a B plot (the crew has to learn to trust each other after a tragedy befalls them) and a C plot (a misguided group of humans acting like Vamp-peace, believe that the vamps are just misunderstood and that humans are bad and makes bad choices that gets humans killed).

Devil Winds

I rented this movie with Net Flix and it is a great movie. I'm definitely going to buy this in the future. I love storms and I found this an entertaining movie. You can tell the tornados were computer generated and didn't look like they do in real life, but I'm not a picky person and I still found them to look real enough. The movie "Twister" that everyone is familiar with had more realistic looking tornados, but "Devil Winds" is still a great movie. I liked the characters, the story, etc. Great movie!
