The Bishop's Wife

The Bishop's Wife is a treat to watch. Even if it isn't Christmas.
But why no 2 disc collector edition treatment.
Surely if ever a movie deserved to be presented in such a maner. The Bishop's Wife rates it. More so than Holiday Inn, which has been given
both a 2 disc and 3 disc edition.

The Guns of Navarone (Special Edition)

David Niven, Gregory Peck, Anthony Quinn, Anthony Quayle, Stanley Baker
This is a pretty good film overall, but Peck doesn't seem to have his heart in it most of the time. I honestly prefer Force 10 from Navarone much more than this film.

Death on the Nile

Excellent performance by all the great and so known actors. A masterpiece after the Agatha Christie's novel not only for the technical production, (sets, locations, photography) but also for the music and all the talent of the great stars joined here by the first time like P. Ustinov, B. Davies, M. Farrow, M. Smith, D. Niven and G. Kennedy. We can remebre all of them for all times. I think this film is a treasure and a tribute at the same time. A classic film for a good expert in mystery movies.

The Pink Panther

David Niven, Peter Sellers, Robert Wagner, Capucine, Brenda De Banzie
This movie is cute and funny, especially in the scenes that feature Peter Sellers. The grave weakness of this movie, the first in this series, is that the emphasis is on the dashing and debonair jewel thief played by David Niven. There's nothing wrong with that, except the character was already a "stock" character and there's really nothing interesting about them either. Niven's acting was great and the leading ladies are lovely. Also, I had forgotten the great musical number in the middle. .
