I had never seen Heat until it came out on Blu ray. When it came out I just bought it because I figured I had to like this movie. Unfortunately I have still never gotten he chance to really enjoy this movie. They screwed up the audio on this Blu ray disk something terrible. I mean, for a large portion of this film, I could barely hear what the characters were saying. Let me just say that i have a pioneer elite receiver with def tech mythos speakers, so i have a system that can rock the room. At times I had it turned up all the way to try to understand and then i would get killed by the music or an action scene of course.

A Time to Kill [Blu-ray]

Old ways die hard... and even now in the fast-changing American South, some old ways die harder than others. It's the lesson learned by Carl Lee Hailey, a Mississippi factory worker, when his ten-year-old daughter is brutally assaulted by two racist thugs on a drunken spree. A Time to Kill is an incredible movie and probably in my opinion is Schumacher's best. McConaughey and Jackson deliver some of their best performances in this movie. A great movie to watch and enjoy.

Double Jeopardy

The basic story is hoary with age, but , nonetheless, this is a satisfying film, well worth seeing. Ashley Judd does the heavy lifting in the film, and does it with style. Tommy Lee Jones, while equally billed, supports her ably, though little is required of him but a reprise of roles he had often played even as of the date of this film. A number of roles are filled in such way as to add character to the film much to its improvement. For the most part, it moves along with sufficient action to keep it interesting, although only Judd's part is given more than a single dimension.
