TJ HOOKER was an awesome police drama about a divorced middle-aged tough as nails crime fighting LAPD like patrol sergeant who sometimes taught cadets at his departments police academy and was often butting heads with his superior officer Capt. Sheridan(Richard Herd) and partnered with the young hunky and short-tempered rookie Officer Vince Romano(Adrian Zmed) who was also Hooker's good pal off-duty too, which made them almost like an upgraded carbon copy of ADAM-12 and made them a tad similar to Ponch(Erik Estrada) and Jon(Larry Wilcox)on CHiPs.

Okay, Maxwell who plays the male lead role is DEVASTATINGLY hot in this movie.

Michelle is cute, at times very sexy, but mostly she sticks out as a superstar in a three star movie..too old to be a high school grad but hot enough to wish she was. So you play along.

The storyline is kind of fun...senior girl wants something more from a boyfriend. (Rather than the TOO DOPEY..and I MEAN STUPID Thunderbirds.) What does she want? A cool rider, a cool guy with a motorcycle.

You know me, I can't pass up low budget flix. I may go into the store with the best of intentions and a long list of recommended films but just let me catch a glimpse of that single copy of some horror movie or martial arts film that looks as if even the director's mother wouldn't voluntarily sit through it and I've got to rent it. No kidding, you catch a lot of good movies that way. But unfortunatly you also undergo hours of needless torture. So guess what happened when I rented a movie called SHIRA THE VAMPIRE SAMURAI "Part Vampire, Part Samurai, All Woman"? Yep, I got just what I deserved.
